PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Overland Pros Anza 1400 was inspired by the Anza Borrego State Park in Southern California.  The Anza series was designed to be modular, efficient, and dynamically adjustable in the field and is unlike any other roof top tent on the market.  It offers huge front and rear open walls to allow for maximum airflow and 270* outward viewing, yet can be closed for chilly nights or inclement weather. Set-up time is minimized with a design that eliminates pesky spring rods from side windows as well as the front and rear doors.  While the tent is made from waterproof 280G canvas, it features a removable rain fly for the most extreme situations or when an extra thermal barrier above the tent is needed.  When the temperature rises and you want to take in some fresh air or simply get a better view of your surroundings you can zip down all 4 corners for an unparalleled view with maximum ventilation.

Anyone who has owned a roof top tent understands all too well that installing spring rods on every side of the tent can be challenging when it forces you to climb up on the roof our bend yourself in a precarious position.  For those who still prefer the look of a supported rain fly or door, we do provide 4 spring rods- just know you don’t have to use them to get the most out of your tent!

This tent was engineered for overlanders by overlanders!  We want you to spend more time enjoying your adventure and less time setting up and taking down your tent.

We sold our ruggedized Tepui and upgraded to the overland pros Anza 2000. Even for a family of three the Tepui was just too small and it always felt claustrophobic. We’re really really happy with our new tent. And absolutely love the way the sides drop down and you don’t have to use the tension rods to hole up the rain fly if you’re not using it. I can easily leave our three sleeping bags and pillows in the tent and close it up. The boot bag keeps it’s clean inside and it’s water proof so our boots stay dry.

This tent is both a great value for what you get, and has advanced design that you do not find in other RTTs. I love the ability to have about 70% wrap around screen when you want to be open to the outside. Also that it is not necessary to use the rain fly. The tent body is rain proof.

To start with I do very much like my tent. For the price you are getting a well constructed and thought out roof top tent with good customer support. While the tent can deployed in different weather and climates I like it for the way it performs in the desert spring fall and winter. It is not unusual to experience high winds and colder weather in the Mojave and Death Valley. I have found the taught design of the fabric greatly reduces wind noise and the removal of the rain fly which is not necessary even in wet conditions as the main body is waterproofed also greatly helps. With the tautness in the fabric there is a break in period and I would suggest deploying the tent and leaving it up to stretch out before a trip. The cover is deliberately over sized allowing sleeping bags and much more to be left in the tent freeing up space inside the vehicle which is very handy. Probably one of my favorite things about this tent is the extra thick mattress. I am side sleeper and with the back and joint injuries that come with life and it has provided some of my best nights sleep, no joke. I have beaten on this tent (not recommended) but having hit tree branches on the trail, tried ripping the ladder off by moving the vehicle with it extended, it has taken the abuse kept working and the repairs were easy using hand tools. Enjoy!

Awesome tent! I’ve taken it out a few times and it had been amazing. Exactly as described, I personally never use the rain fly and stay dry all night. Going to really put it to the test this upcoming elk season, can’t wait.

Very nice canvas. Frame and floor seem strong. Can’t wait to use it on the trail. Depending on your rack might want to invest in the extended brackets.

We absolutely love our rooftop tent! Support was fantastic, instructions were clear and easy. The tent itself is very easy to use and quite comfortable. The materials and zippers are super heavy duty! We love how you have the option of having it very open, very closed and anywhere in-between. We would recommend without hesitation!
